Wintertime Wishes (ptu)
This tutorial was written on December 2nd 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.
Supplies Needed
No outside tubes used.
PTU Scrap Kit 'Winter Wishes' by Tishia and you can purchase this kit - HERE
No Template used.
No Mask Used.
Brush of Choice (optional)
Plugin Used - Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow.
Ready...
Open a new image in your psp workspace by clicking file then select new, choose 500x500 and white for colour then click ok.
You may prefer to work with a larger or smaller canvas so my size is just a guide, select which size you feel good to work with, the kit is rather large so we will be resizing throughout.
Choose one of the frame elements and paste as a new layer then go to image and select resize, resize to your liking but not too large, click ok then go to layers and select duplicate, go to image and select rotate then choose free rotate and set to 15% left, go to image again and select mirror, you should now have 3 frame layers like mine, close off the white background layer and then go to layers and select merge visible, you can unhide the white layer again after doing this.
Grab your magic wand tool from the tool palette and click inside the middle area of the merged frames, also click the transparent parts around the merged frames making sure youve click them all you will see the marching ants blinking, now go to selections and select modify then choose expand by 4, take a paper of your choice from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize around 30% smartsize then go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, go to selections again and select none then move this paper layer down below the frame layer, add a dropshadow of your choice to the frame layer.
Take the sledge element from the kit and paste as a new layer, make sure your on the top layer of the canvas, resize the sledge to your liking and place near bottom right corner then grab the deform tool and rotate slightly to the right like mine, add a small dropshadow to this layer if you wish.
Take the snowman element from the kit and paste this as a new layer in the centre of your canvas, go to image and select resize then resize to your liking and add the dropshadow.
Take the wordart from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place above snowman but inside the frame, resize more till it fits how you like it and add a dropshadow.
Take the penguin element and paste as new layer, resize as needed and place a bottom of the sledge and dropshadow.
Pick a bird element and paste as new layer then resize as needed and place in bottom left side of the canvas, add dropshadow to this as well.
Take the second bird element and paste as new layer, resize as needed and place on the sledge then dropshadow.
Choose a bow from the kit, paste as a new layer and resize as needed, place this on the frame and dropshadow.
Now make sure you are on the paper layr and take a snowflake from the kit, paste as a new layer, resize this quite small and place like mine, I didnt add a dropshadow to mine but you can do so if you wish to, i also duplicated the snowflake and resized a little smaller, do this a few times and place around the inside of the frame like mine.
Activate the bottom white layer and choose a splatter brush of your choice, add a new raster layer then place some splatters around the edges of the frame.
Time to crop or resize your tag if needed but remember to leave space for your name and copyright info lol.
Add your name in your font of choice, I added a gradient glow to my name with the following settings :-
Glow Width - 5.00 ... Soft Corners - 25 ... Opacity - 100 ... Colour - White, click the colour tab and move the slider about halfway to the middle of the grid, this will make the glow a little bolder, click ok.
Add artist info, copyright info and your own info.
All done.

This tutorial was written on December 1st 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.

Activate the circle layer on the template and go to selections, select all, select float then select defloat so the marchying ants are clinking around the outer circle, take a paper of your choice from the kit and paste as a new layer, if you wish to resize the paper a little then go to image and select resize then choose to resize to whichever size you want as long as its not smaller than the original circle then go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard to erase the excess paper, delete the original circle layer now.
On the pixel words and dotted circle layers i left them as they were but you can colourise or shadow or whatever you wish with these layers.
Activate the frame back 1 layer and repeat the first step that we used for the circle layer, use a different paper from the kit if you wish, delete the original frame back layer once done.
Again repeat the step on the frame back 2 and frame back 3 layers deleting the originals as you work. I also added a small dropshadow to all these template layers, this is your choice.
Snowflakes layers 1 & 2 were left as they were for this tutorial, again you can colourise, shadow or whatever you wish with them mine is merely an example.
Activate the frame 1 layer now and go to adjust, select brightness/contrast then move the brightness slider all the way to the right so that the frame should now be white, add a dropshadow to the frame.
Repeat the step we just did on the frame 2 layer.
Activate the large snowflake layer and go to adjust, select hue/saturation/lightness and choose colourise then pick a colour that matches your tube/tag then click ok, add the dropshadow to the flake here too.
Activate the frame 3 layer and repeat the colourise step we just did above and add the dropshadow.
Activate the wordart back layer, i left mine pink and added a dropshadow.
The actual wordart layer was left as it was in this one with no dropshadow.
Now lets activate the top layer of the canvas and add some elements of your choice, the kit is packed with fab goodies so you will be spoiled for choice, add each element as a new layer and resize as needed then place where you like them and add a dropshadow if you wish.
When you finish adding elements make sure your on the top layer then take your tube and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place where you wish then add a dropshadow to the tube.
Activate the bottom white layer and take a glitter splatter and paste as a new layer, move to one side of your tag and place as you like then when happy with the placement go to layers, select duplicate then go to image and select mirror so the glitter is showing from both sides of the tag.

Lets Get Started ...
Open a new image in your psp workspace by going to file and click new, in the box that pops up set to 500x500 and choose white for your image colour then click ok.
(note- this is the size that i prefer to work with but use whichever size your comfotable with, the element resizing will be different to mine though.
Take one of the circle frames from the kit and paste as a new layer on your working canvas, go to image and select resize, choose to resize by 80% of original image and select smartsize, make sure resize all layers box is unchecked then click ok.
Now grab you magic wand tool from the tool palette and click inside the middle of the frame, you should see marching ants blinking all round the inner of the frame now so go to selections and select modify then choose to expand by 4, click ok.
Now choose a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, you may want to resize a little but make sure the papers not smaller than the circle of marching ants, when your happy with size go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, the excess paper will now dissappear lol, move the paper layer down to below the frame layer.
Take the merry christmas circle wordart from the kit and paste as a new layer on your canvas, go to image and select resize then choose to resize by 90% smartsize and click ok, the wordart should sit nicely around the outer of the frame.
Go to effects and select eye candy 4000, gradient glow and use the following settings to give the wordart a small glow :-
Glow Width - 3.00 ... Soft Corners - 25 ... Opacity - 100 ... Colour - White, click ok. (alternatively you could just add a white dropshadow).
Now take one of the tree elements from the kit, paste as a new layer and resize to your liking, go to image select rotate and choose free rotate left by around 15.00, place the tree near the bottom left side of the frame.
Next take the star swirl circle element and paste this as a new layer, resize just a little this time, I choose 90% smartsize and click ok, the stars swirl should be above the tree layer and overlapping the frame.
Paste your tube of choice as a new layer and resize as needed but change smartsize to bicubic in the pop up box when resizing tubes, place her where you like on the canvas or like mine near bottom right side and when happy with placement and size add a small dropshadow to your tube.
I also added the holly leaf element and resized by 20% smartsize, place holly where you like it on the frame and then go to layers and select duplicate then move the duplicated holly to a different position on the frame.
Add some baubles and candy cane elements and resize quite small then place where you like them on the tree like mine.
I used the red star element and resized small then placed on the snow part of the frame, i duplicated the star twice and evened the stars out.
Take one of the presents elements from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place in bottom left corner of your canvas.
Activate the bottom white layer and paste a paper from the kit as a new layer, I didnt resize this time but do so if you wish, now go to layers and select load mask from disc then find the mask that we saved at the start, select this and put in the following settings :-
Source Luminace - Checked ... Fit to Canvas - Checked ... Invert Transparency - Unchecked ... Hide all Mask - Checked, click ok then go to the layer palette and merge group.
Grab yur deform tool and pull up the centre bottom node to about the middle of your canvas then go to layers and select duplicate, go to image and select flip then back to image and select mirror, your mask will be showing all the way around the frame now.
Choose a glitter splatter element and paste as a new layer and use your deform tool to pull out the nodes so you have some glitter showing around the frame.
I also added a doodle, resized this by 50% smartsize and placed in top left corner of canvas then go to layers select duplicate and then go to image and select mirror then flip so you have the doodle in the bottom right corner as well.
Lastly i added one of the gift tag elements, resize this as needed and place over her finger beside the snowman.
Now crop or resize your tag if you wish to in the usual way.
Add your name in a font of your choice.
Add artist info, copyright info and your own info.

Merry Christmas 09 (ftu)
This tutorial was written on November 26th 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.
Supplies Needed
Tube/s of Choice, I used the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis, you must have a proper license to use his work please visit MPT - mypsptubes - HERE .
FTU Scrap Kit 'Tis the Season' by Scraps Dimensions - HERE.
Template Used - Christmas Template 3 by Tracy F. Designz at Freebie Friends Scraps & More - HERE.
Mask of Choice, the mask i used I cannot remember where i got it (its an old one).
Plugin Used - Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow for your name. (optional)
Save mask to your psp folder and open all supplies needed before we begin....
Ready to begin ...
Open the template in your psp workspace and hit ctrl & d to duplicate the template, this way you will save the original template for re using again and again, close the orginial now and on the new image delete the copyright layer, go to image and select resize then choose to resize all layers by 80% smartsize, just make sure the resize all layers box is checked for this one, click ok.
Go to layers and select a new raster layer, change your canvas colour to white and click ok then move this layer all the way down to the bottom of your working canvas.
Now go to image and select resize, choose canvas size and change to 600x600, make sure you click centre position then click ok, now you may have some transparent border showing so grab your flood fill tool and click on the transparent area to fill with white.
Activate the circle one layer and go to selections, select all, select float, select defloat then take a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize by 60% smartsize with resize all layers box checked then click ok, make sure the paper is not smaller than the marching ants and when happy with placement go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, go to selections again then select none, you can delete the original circle 1 layer now.
Repeat that step on the rectangle layer using a different paper from the kit and delete the original rectangle layer.
Activate the circle 2 layer and go to adjust, select hue/saturation/brightness and then select colourise, choose a colour close to your tube and click ok.
I left the frame 1, frame 2, rectangle fill & the text fills as they were and added a small dropshadow in a dark shade but this is optional, you may want to colourise the layers to a colour that suits your tube.
Activate the merry christmas text layer and go to adjust then hue/saturation/lightness and select colourise as we did before, choose a colour of your choice and click ok.
Make sure your on the circle 2 layer and go to selections, select all, select float, select defloat then take the snow layer element from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize a little if needed but not smaller than the marching ants around the circle, now go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard and go to selections again to select none.
Choose a couple of the doodles from the kit and paste as new layers on your canvas, resize each doodle by around 50% smartsize and move to top & bottom corners so you can see the doodle from behind the template layer, move these doodle layers down to just above the white background layer. I added a small white dropshadow to the doodle layers but this is up to you.
Now activate the bottom white layer and choose a paper from the kit then paste this as a new layer, go to layers and select load mask from disc then in the drop menu look for the mask that you choose at the start, select this and use the following settings :-
Source Luminace - Checked ... Fit to Canvas - Checked ... Invert Transparency - Unchecked ... Hide all Mask - Checked, click ok then go to the layer palette and merge group.
(ps depending on the mask your using you may have to select ivert transparenct to checked.)
Activate the top layer of your canvas and take you selected tube/s, resize them as needed and remember to resize the tubes bicubic, place where you like it on the canvas and when happy with this give the tube/s a dropshadow, I gave them a white shadow, pls also remember if you use 2 tubes that they are from the same artist.
Now take a few elements from the kit and paste as new layers, resize the elements as needed to your liking and place around the tag, mines was quite bold so I didnt use many elements for this one but decorate yours how you wish and be creative.
If you wish to crop or resize your tag then nows the time to do this, before we add the text as resizing will make your text fuzzy.
Add your name in your font of choice. I added eye candy 4000, gradient glow to my name with the following settings :-
Glow Width - 4.00 ... Soft Corners - 25 ... Opacity - 100 ... Colour - White, click ok.
i also added a little extra text with the word from, this is optional.

This is just a guide for the size i prefer to work with, you can resize to whichever size suits you.
Activate the rectangle layer on your copy of template and go to selections, select all, select float then select defloat, now pick a paper from the kit then paste as a new layer, resize by 80% smartsize twice and make sure the paper is covering the marching ants, now go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, go back to selections and select none, you can delete the original rectangle layer now.
Repeat the above step for all the other template layers except the dotted circle layer and top and bottom thin rectangles layers, use different papers if you wish and delete all the original layers as you work.
Now we will add a gradient glow to all the above layers so go to effects and select eye candy 4000, gradient glow and use the following settings :-

Work your way through the other template layers you created and add the smale glow and shadow.
Activate the dotted circle layer and I left these black but you can change the colour if you wish to, add the same gradient glow as we used in the step above then add the same dropshadow too.
Activate the top thin rectangle layer now and go to adjust, select hue/saturation/lightness then select colourise, change to colour that matches your tube and tag, i choose green for mine, now go to effects and select textured effects, weave and use the following settings :-
Gap - 2 ... Width - 7 ... Opacity - 9 ... Weave colour - Pink ... Gap colour - Pink ... Fill Gaps - Checked, click ok.
Now add the gradient glow we used before on this layer.
Repeat that step for the bottom thin rectangle layer.
Make sure your on the top thin rectangle layer and choose a font of your choice and select white for your background fill and null for the foreground, now type out the words 'Golf Babe' or whichever phrase you want, adjust the size till it fits neat inside the top thin rectangle the add a small dropshadow.
Take one of the golf ball lines element from the kit and paste as a new layer, you will need to resize so go to image and select resize, choose resize by 80% smartsize and make sure the resize all layers box is unchecked, click ok then go back and resize by 80% smartsize once more, place the line of balls over the middle rectangle and use the deform tool if you need to pull the ends in a little so the balls arent overlapping the rectangle, add the same dropshadow to this layer too.
Take the golfing buggy element from the kit and paste this as a new layer on your working canvas, resize as needed and place near bottom left of your tag, add the dropshadow.
Add your tube by pasting as a new layer, resize as needed, remember resize tubes by bicubic, place in centre but slightly to the right side of your tag and add a dropshadow.
Choose one of the star burst elements and paste as a new layer, resize by around 50% smartsize and place near top left of your tag, now go to layers and select duplicate, go to image and select flip, go back to layers and select duplicate again then back to layers and select mirror, click layers again and duplicate then image and flip, this should give you the star clusters in all 4 corners of the tag, move all these layers down to just above the white background layer.
Activate the white background layer now and paste a paper of choice as a new layer, resize by 80% smartsize and go to layers then select load mask from disc and choose the mask that you saved at the start (wsl mask #84) use the following settings :-
Source Luminace - Checked ... Fit to Canvas - Checked ... Invert Transparency - Unchecked ... Hide all Mask - Checked, click ok then go to the layer palette and merge group. I clicked the deform tool now and on the middle right side node i pulled it in to make the mask layer narrower, move it more to the left then go to layers and select duplicate, go to image and select mirror, now go to adjust and select hue/saturation/lightness and then select colourise, choose an alternate colour that matches your tag to colourise the second mask layer.
Back to the top layer of your canvas and time to dress your tag up with any other elements you wish to use from the kit, elements will need to be resized a little and add a dropshadow to each layer, place where you like around the canvas.
Now if you want to crop or resize the tag do it now as resizing can sometimes make the text layers fuzzy.
Add your name in your font of choice, i added the same weave as the thin rectangle layers to my name, so if you wish to do this the settings are the same as above.
Add artist info, copyright info and your own info.
All done.
Save your tag as a jpeg or png file.
Thanks for trying my tutorial, I hope you enjoyed it and as always id love you to send your creations, addy is over there on the right>>>>

Santas Helper (ftu)
This tutorial was written on November 21st 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.
Supplies Needed
Tube of Choice, I used the artwork of Al Rio, you must have a proper license to use his work please visit CILM - HERE.
FTU Scrap Kit 'Xmas Candy Cane' by Lacarolia and you will find this fab freebie - HERE.
No Template Used.
Mask Used - WSL Mask #108 by Chelle at Wee Scots Lass Creations - HERE.
Plugin Used - Toadies, Blast 'n' Blur.
Save mask to your psp folder and open all supplies needed before we begin....
Ready... Lets get started... this tutorial is yet another quick and easy one, lol.
In your psp workspace open a new file by going to file and select new, choose 500x500 (or whichever size you prefer to work with) set canvas colour to white and click ok.
Take the round frame from the scrapkit and paste as a new layer, the elements are pretty big in this kit so you will need to resize, i resized mine by around 50% smartsize but this will depend on which size your working with, make sure that the tab resize all layers is unchecked before you click ok so that its just the frame your resizing and not the whole image.
Duplicate the frame layer and close the layer off for now we wil use this later on in the tutotial.
Click inside the transparent area of the frame with your magic wand tool and you should see the marching ants blinking, go to selections and select modify, choose expand and set to expand by 4 now take a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, the papers are fairly big too so resize a little to your liking, once happy with size and placement go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, this will erase any excess paper around the frame, now move the paper layer to below the frame layer.
Activate the top layer of the canvas now and take a tree from the kit then paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place in centre of the canvas/frame, add a dropshadow to the tree, i used settings :-
Vertical - 0 ... Horizontal - 0 ... Opacity - 100 ... Blur - 12... Colour - White, click ok.
I repeated the shadow once more to give a more hazy look to the tree.
Take the sleigh element from the kit and paste this as a new layer, resize as needed and place to lower left of your canvas, I added a dropshadow to this layer using the same settings as above but changed the colour to black and only used the shadow one time.
Paste your tube as a new layer, resize as needed so shes sitting on the sleigh, add the dropshadow again using the same settings and change the colour back to white.
Take the presents elements from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place in lower left of your canvas see mine for placement, add the dropshadow once again changing the colour back to black.
Add a few other elements that you wish to use and resize as necessary, place where you like them on your tag and dropshadow.
Now lets go back to the copy of the frame layer that we made earlier, unhide the layer and move it all the way down to the layer just above the white bacground layer, go to effects and choose Toadies, find the Blast n Blur effect and use the default settings then click ok, your copy frame layer should now look like mine, go to adjust now and select add noise, set to monochrome and check guassian and set noise to 100 then click ok, it should look even more glittery now lol.
Again activate the bottom white layer and take the candy cane stars 1 element from the kit, paste as a new layer and resize to your liking, move to right side of your canvas, now go to layers and select duplicate then go to image and select mirror,I didnt add any dropshadow to these layers.
Choose a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and then go to layers and select load mask from disc, find the mask that you saved at the start which is WSL Mask #108, use the following settings :-
Source Luminace - Checked ... Fit to Canvas - Checked ... Invert Transparency - Unchecked ... Hide all Mask - Checked, click ok then go to the layer palette and merge group. At this stage i grabbed my deform tool and pulled out the centre nodes a little all round so that you can see a bit more of the mask.
Now if you want to crop or resize the tag do it now before we add any text layers as resizing can sometimes make the text fuzzy.
Add your name in your font of choice.
Add artist info, copyright info and your own info.
All done.
Save your tag as a jpeg or png file.
Thanks for trying my tutorial, I hope you enjoyed it and as always id love you to send your creations, addy is over there on the right>>>>

Christmas Star (ftu)
This tutorial was written on November 20th 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.
Supplies Needed
Tube/s of Choice, I used the artwork of Keith Garvey, you must have a proper license to use his work please visit MPT - mypsptubes - HERE .
FTU Scrap Kit 'Feliz Natal' by Bel Vidotti and you can download this fabuous kit from Bel's blog - HERE.
Template Used - Vix Template #37 and this can be downloaded from Vix's blog - HERE.
Mask Used - WSL Mask #239 by Chelle @ Wee Scots Lass Creations - HERE.
Plugin Used - Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow.
Effects Used - Textured Effects, Weave.
Save mask to your psp folder and open all supplies needed before we begin....
Ready... Lets get started... this tutorial is another quick and easy one.
Open the template in your psp workspace and hit ctrl & d to duplicate the template, this way you will save the original template for re using again and again, close the orginial now and on the new image delete the copyright layer, go to image and select resize then choose to resize all layers by 85% smartsize, just make sure the resize all layers box is checked for this one, click ok.
Go to layers and select new raster layer then change your foreground colour to white in the colour palette and select the floodfill tool then click in the canvas to change the transparent new layer to white, move this layer all the way to the bottom layer of your canvas.
Activate the background to colour layer and in your foreground colour tab choose a colour from the kit or one that matches your tube, grab your colour to target brush tool and then move your mouse over the whole of the layer to change to your choosen colour.
Activate the bottom rectangle layer, using the magic wand tool click inside the pink area of the rectangle, now take a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, go to selections, select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, this will erase the paper around the rectangle.
Repeat that step with the same of different paper from the kit, you can also delete the original rectangle layers as you go along.
Activate the bottom rectangle frame layer now and go to effects, select dropshadow and add a shadow of your choice to the frame layer, do the same with the top rectangle frame layer.
Now activate the top fill layer and with the magic wand again click inside the star, take the tube of your choice, a close up works well for this one, paste the tube as a new layer and place which part you want inside the star, i choose a close up of the main tube and used her face for my star fills, once you have the tube placed where you want it go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard to erase any extra tube part around the star.
Repeat that step on the bottom fill layer, you can use a different part of the tube or like mine i used the same part but mirrored the tube, delete the original fill layers here too.
Activate the middle fill layer and go to adjust, select brightness/contrast then move the brightness slider all the way to the right, this will change the colour of the fill to white, now go to effects and choose textured effects, weave, use the following settings :-
Gap - 2 ... Width - 7 ... Opacity - 9 ... Weave colour - Red ... Gap colour - Red ... Fill Gaps - Checked, click ok.
Now for the star layers which are all the same so simply follow this step for all 3 layers, i left the stars white, go to effects, select eye candy 4000, gradient glow and use the following settings :-
Glow Width - 6.00 ... Soft Corners - 25 ... Opacity - 100 ... Colour - Red, click ok.
I left the wordart layers as they were for this tutorial but you can colourise them as you like.
Activate the bottom white layer and take a paper from the kit, paste as a new layer and then go to layers tab and select load mask from disc, find the mask that you saved at the start which is WSL Mask #239, use the following settings :-
Source Luminace - Checked ...
Now its time to add some elements and your main tube so activate the top layer and we will paste the main tube first, you may want to resize the tube a little depending on the size you work with, i resized my tube by 85% bicubic and make sure the resize all layers tab is unchecked for this layer, place tube where you want it or like mine to the right side of your canvas, add a dropshadow to the tube.
Decorate the rest of your tag with some elements from the kit, i used the tree, some holly and baubles but this is your choice so be creative and add whatever else you like, each element should be resized as needed and placed where you want them also add a dropshadow to the elements.
Nice n easy right? I hope so lol
Now if you want to crop or resize the tag do it now as resizing can sometimes make the text layers fuzzy.
Add your name in your font of choice, i added the same gradient glow as the star frames here.
Add artist info, copyright info and your own info.
All done.
Save your tag as a jpeg or png file.
Thanks for trying my tutorial, I hope you enjoyed it and as always id love you to send your creations, addy is over there on the right>>>>

If you want some extra room to work with your elements you can always go to image and select canvas size then choose new canvas size to your liking, remember to activate the bottom white layer first, and if you have any transparent image showing then choose white as your foreground colour in the colour tab then click on transparent area to fill with the white.
Activate the squares layer and go to selections, select all, select float, select defloat the paste a paper from the kit as a new layer, resize by 80% twice then go to selections again and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, you can delete the original layer now and add a small dropshadow to the layer you just created.

Again repeat the step on the diamonds layer with different paper, this time i used 2 different papers for each diamond, no dropshadow added this time.
Activate the dotted lines layer and go to adjust, select brightness/contrast then move the brightness slider all the way to the right, this will change the dotted lines from dark to white, add a dropshadow to this layer.

Glow Width - 3.00 .... Soft Corners - 25 .... Overall Opacity - 100 .... Colour - Black, move the slider to about half way along to the middle, click ok.
Now activate the bottom white layer and take element 60 or element 61 from the kit, whichever colour you choose and paste as a new layer above the white layer, resize this as needed till its showing all round the template layers.
Activate the top layer of your canvas now and paste your choosen tube as a new layer, resize by around 85% bicubic and place in centre nearer bottom of the canvas, add a dropshadow to the tube layer.
Decide which other elements you wish to use and paste each as a new layer, place around the canvas where you like them, add a dropshadow to the element layers and bring your tube layer to the top layer.
I used the Xmas tree, some ribbons, gingerbread and some candy & holly but you decide which elements look best with your tag.
Once you finish decorating your tag crop or resize if you didnt at the start.

Lets Start.
Open a new image in your psp by going to file tab and select new, choose 500x500 white image, click ok.
Take the building element from the kit and paste as a new layer, go to image, select resize and then choose to resize till its to your liking, position in middle of canvas and with your mover tool move slightly up towards the top, just a little tho.
Take the wire mesh element from the kit and paste this as a new layer above the building layer, you may need to resize a little so its not much larger than the actual building.
Take the shock therapy wordart and paste this as a new layer on your canvas, risze as needed, i made mine quite small and with mover tool move this to just above the doors on the building, this is just a guide you can always place where you think it looks good, add a small dropshadow to this layer.
I also used the madness wordart, do the same as above step and rotate a little by going to image and select rotate then choose free rotate, i choose to rotate to the right by 10.00, place this on the right side of the building near the top like mine.
Ok activate the bottom white layer of your working canvas and paste a paper of your choice as a new layer, now go to layers and select load mask from disc and in the drop menu look for the first mask you saved at the start which is WSL Mask #276, use the following settings :-
Fit to canvas - checked .... Source luminace - checked .... Invert transparency - unchecked .... Hide Mask - checked, click ok, go to layers, merge group.
Now go back and activate the bottom white layer once more then repeat the mask step above but this time use the second mask we saved at the start which is wsl mask #29, this time use your deform tool and stretch the nodes out so the mask will be showing from behind the first mask layer.
Activate the top layer of your canvas now and paste your choosen tube/s, resize them a little if needed and place on either side of your canvas, i didnt use any dropshadow on my tubes this time as they are quite bold but you can add a dropshadow if you wish to.
I added some other elements from the kit and resized as needed, pick the ones you want to use and place each new element below the tube layers, add a small dropshadow to the elements if you wish.
Told you this one was quick and easy lol...
Now its time to crop or resize if you want to.
Add your name, artist info and copyright info.
Add a small gradient glow of your choice to your name and dropshadow.
Save as jpeg or .png.

Take the skating boots and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place near bottom left side of the canvas, add the dropshadow here if you wish.

Activate the frame layer again now and go to layers, select duplicate, nove this layer all the way down to below the original frame then go to effects and select Toadies, blast n blur with the default setting and click ok.
Activate the bottom white layer and paste a paper of choice from the kit as a new layer, go to layers and select load mask from disc then look for the mask that you saved at the start (#167) and use the following settings :-
Fit to canvas - checked .... Source luminace - checked .... Invert transparency - unchecked .... Hide Mask - checked, click ok, go to layers, merge group. Activate the waved lines layer, go to selections, select all, select float, select defloat then take a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize just a little, remember resize all layers should be unchecked this time and once happy with size go to selections again and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard this will erase the excess paper from around the template shape, now go to selections and select none. Now deletethe original layer.
Repeat this step for the other template layers , i.e hearts, Thin rectangles and Thin rectangles 2 layers, use different papers from the kit as you choose and delete the original layers as you work.
I added a gradient glow to all my template layers, this is up to you though... if your adding the glow the settings i used were as follows :-
Glow Width - 3.00 ... Soft Corners - 25 ... Opacity - 100 .... Colour - I used red white and black for colours and moved the slider along till i had a triple coloured glow, this is up to you though.
Now activate the bottom white layer and take one of the splatter elements, paste as a new layer then go to image and select resize, choose resize by 50% smartsize twice then move the splatter to the top left of your canvas, go to layers, select duplicate then go to image and select mirror, back to image and select flip, now you should have the splatter in top left and bottom right.

Take your tube and paste as new layer, go to image and select resize, choose to resize by around 80% bicubic with resize all layers tab unchecked, if you use the same tube as i did then grab your earser tool to erase a little at the bottom so the tube isnt hanging over the wire frame. Add a dropshadow to your tube layer.
Now its time to decorate your tag with any other elements you wish to use, paste each element as a new layer, resize as needed and place where you want around the tag, add a small dropshadow to the element layers if you wish.
When done adding elements, select the crop tool and select any extra white backing thats showing then click the tick tab to crop to size.

Now take one of the grass elements and paste as a new layer, resize this to your liking and move layer below the wagon layer, place at bottom left of the canvas, now go to layers and duplicate the grass as many times as needed to go all the way along the bottom of your tag. I didnt use the dropshadow on the grass layers, also i added an extra grass layer above the wagon layer and resize a little smaller than the rest, this is up to you though.
Now take the ivy 4 element and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place amongst the grass layers, duplicate this a couple of times and spread out along the bottom of your tag.
I think we are almost done, you can add a few other elements of your choice if you wish, i added the tub of apples and a couple of the pumpkins and a butterfly, decorate your tag to your liking.
Now crop or resize your tag if you want to, you do this by grabbing the crop tool from the tool palette then drag your cursor around the area you want to crop then go to the tool bar and click the tab with the tick icon to confim the crop, remember to leave enough room for your name and copyright though lol.
Add your name, artist info and copyright info.

This tutorial was written on October 26th 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.
Nice n Easy Beginner Level Tutorial.
Supplies Needed

No Template Used.
Mask Used - #145 by Kris and you can download this from -
No Plugins or Filters used.
Effects Used - Blur, guassian blur.
Font of Choice for your name.
Open all supplies before you start & save mask to psp masks folder if you dont already have this ....
Lets Get Started....
Open a new image in your psp by going to file tab and select new, choose 500x500 white image, click ok.
Take the operating theatre doors from the kit and paste as a new layer, go to image, select resize and then choose to resize around 50% smartsize and make sure you have the resize all layers box unchecked then click ok, place the doors in the centre of your canvas, add a dropshadow if you wish.
Now take one of the trolley bed elements from the kit and paste this as a new layer, go to image and select resize by 50% again or to whatever suits your tag and click ok, move the bed slightly to the left side of the canvas and add the same dropshadow again if you wish to.
Take the post op drip element and paste as a new layer, go to image and select resize then resize this to your liking and place at the front of the bed, add the dropshadow to this too if you are using dropshadow.
Take the clipboard element now and paste this as a new layer, resize quite small and place so it looks like its hanging from side of the trolley bed then add the dropshadow.
Now take your tube and paste as a new layer, resize around 80% bicubic and click ok, if you are using the same tube as me i placed her so she is leaning over the bed, i added the dropshadow to the tube layer.
Activate the bottom white layer of your canvas and choose a paper from the kit as a new layer then resize around 80% smartsize, now go to layers and choose load mask from disk then look for the mask that we saved at the start which is #145 by Kris and use the following settings :-
Fit to canvas - checked .... Source luminace - checked .... Invert transparency - unchecked .... Hide Mask - checked, click ok, go to layers, merge group.
Open and minimise a different paper from the kit in your psp workspace....
Activate the bottom layer again and grab your rectangle tool then go to the colour palette and set foreground colour to null and background colour choose patterns then find the paper that you just minimised in the patterns tabs, now draw out a large square about the same size as the mask layer shape, go to adjust and select blur, choose guassian blur and set to 20.00 then click ok.
Click back to the top layer now and use any elements you want from the kit to decorate, each element should be pasted as a new layer and resized to your liking, i also added the dropshadow to my elements.
Told you this one was easy lol, and quick.
Now its time to crop or resize if you want to, i didnt on this one.
