This tutorial was written on October 12th 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.

Supplies Needed

Tube/s of Choice, I used the artwork of Keith Garvey, you must have a proper license to use his work please visit MPT - mypsptubes - HERE .
FTU Scrap Kit 'Scream at the Night' by Lacarolita @ Lacarolitas Designs - HERE.
Template Used - SC TemplateMH2 by Sixbugs Creations and you can find this on the Misfits Templates Challenge for Oct - HERE
Mask Used - dmsk 0416 which you can find -
HERE.
Plugin Used - Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow.
Effects Used - Textured Effects, Blinds.

Dropshadow - optional.

Open all supplies before you start & save mask to psp masks folder if you dont already have this ....

Lets Get Started....

Open the template, hit shift & d on your keyboard, this pastes the template as new image, close the original template. Delete info layer, go to image, select resize, choose resize 80%, choose smartsize and make sure the box resize all layers is checked, click on the bottom layer & fill with white by grabbing your flood fill tool from the tool palette and choose white colour as your foreground colour, click the canvas to fill the layer.

Circle 1 & circle 3 layers & meow layer, I left them white but you could colourise you wanted.

Activate circle 2 layer, go to selections, select all, select float, select defloat then take a paper of choice from the kit and paste as a new layer, you will need to resize quite a bit but not smaller than the marching ants thats blinking around the circle, when happy with size go to selections, select invert then hit delete on your keyboard then go to selections again and select none.
Delete the original circle 2 layer now.

Activate circle 4 layer and repeat the step you just did above with a different paper from the kit but after inverting and deleting DO NOT deselect, take the close up tube you choose and paste as a new layer, positon in the centre of the circle then hit delete on the keyboard, now you should have the paper and then the tube layer above it neatly inside the circle 4.
Delete the original circle layer now.

Activate the dotted line layer and go to effects, select eye candy 4000, gradient glow and apply the following settings :-
Glow Width - 3.00 .... Soft Corners - 25 .... Overall Opacity - 100 .... Colour - dark red, move the slider to about half way along to the middle, click ok.

Activate the bad kitty layer and go to effects, select eye candy 4000, gradient glow and apply the following settings :-
Glow Width - 3.00 .... Soft Corners - 25 .... Overall Opacity - 100 .... Colour - White, move the slider to about half way along to the middle, click ok.

Now take the gate element from the kit and paste as a new layer on the top layer of the canvas, resize to your liking and position where they look good or follow mine.

I pasted my main tube now above the gate layer, paste as a new layer and resize around 80% bicubic, make sure resize all layers is unchecked here lol, position tube where you want it. Add a dropshadow to your tube in white so it stands out a little more.

Take the white rose element and paste as a new layer, resize quite small and postion it in her hand if you are using the same tube as mine. Add the white shadow to the rose layer too.

Take the spider web element and paste as a new layer, resize as needed, i did mine 80% twice, remember choose smartsize with the elements, move the web layer down to below the gate layer and add a small dropshadow if you wish.

Ok we will add the mask layer now so activate the bottom white layer and take a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer on your canvas above the white layer, resize a little but not smaller than the canvas, go to layers select load mask from disc and choose the mask that we saved at the start (dmsk0416) use the following settings :-

Fit to canvas - checked .... Source luminace - checked .... Invert transparency - unchecked .... Hide Mask - checked, click ok, go to layers, merge group. I used my deform tool and stretched the mask out a little to cover more background.

On the mask layer go to effects, select textured effects and then blinds, use the following settings :-
Width - 7 .... Opacitiy - 90 .... Colour - Grey .... Horizontal - unchecked ... light from top - checked, click ok then select effects again and repeat the blinds effect with the same settings except this time check the horizontal box, click ok.

Activate the top layer of your canvas now to add the elements....

Take the moon element from the kit and paste this as a new layer, resize as needed and place near top right side of your tag.

Take one of the bats elements and paste as new layer, again resize as needed and place in front of the moon, dupliate this a few times and place where you want near top of your tag, you can also resize different sizes, i also used my deform tool to twist the bats around a little so theyre flying in different directions lol.

Take the spider element, paste as new layer, resize quite small and postion on the gate pillar then duplicate and mirror then flip and postion on te opposite gate pillar.

Add any other elements you wish to your tag, place on new layers and where you like, add dropshadow to any elements you wish, i used the hat, candles, roses but this is up to you.

Once you finish decorating your tag crop or resize if you didnt at the start.

Add your name, artist info & copyright.
Save as jpeg or .png.

And I think thats us about done.
