Going For A Swim

This tutorial was written on May 23rd 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.

Supplies Needed

Tube of Choice I used the artwork of Dean Yeagle, you must have a proper license to use his artwork, to get this visit CILM - HERE .
No Template Used.
FTU Scrap Kit 'Vacations' by Touch Me @ Scrap Mania - HERE .
Mask Used - WSL Mask #84 by Chelle @ Wee Scots Lass Creations - HERE .
Font of Choice.
Drop Shadow throughout

(before starting, save mask into psp folder)

Lets get Started lol

Open a new image in your psp workspace by going to file, select new, choose white canvas, 500x500, click ok. Take one of the frames from the kit and paste as a new layer on your canvas, go to image, select resize and choose resize by 50%, smartsize and make sure resize all layers is unchecked, click ok, position frame in centre of your canvas.

Grab your magic wand from the kit and click inside the frame area so you have marching ants blinking on the screen, go to selections, select modify, expand, and choose expand by 4, paste a paper of choice from the kit as a new layer, resize a little if needed but not smaller than the marching ants, when happy with this go to selections and select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, selections again, select none, move the new layer down below your frame layer.
Add a dropshadow to the frame now.

Activate the top layer and paste your tube as a new layer, resize if you want to and place where you like it on your canvas, add a dropshadow to the tube.

Ok go to bottom layer, white layer, and paste a paper of your choice, resize if needed, layers, load mask from disc, choose the mask you loaded at the start (WSL Mask #84), make sure source luminace is checked,
fit to canvas checked, check/uncheck invert transparency depending on the mask you choose, Merge Group, use the deform tool to stretch it out a bit if you want to .
I duplicated the mask layer and mirrored but thats up to you.

Back on top layer, take a beach towel element from the kit and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and place near bottom of your tag, grab your deform tool and then holding down the shift key pull the left top node in towards the centre, do this with the right top node also then release the shift key and pull the top centre node down a bit, this should made the towel look flatter. Add a dropshadow.

Add any other elements you want from the kit to decorate your tag, remeber to resize as needed and add a dropshadow to each element layer.

Crop or resize all layers to suit yourself, I usually finish my tags around 500x500 but the choice is yours.

On top layer add your name, artist info & copyright.

I think thats us all done lol, save your tag as jpeg or .png.

Thanks for trying tutorial would love to see your results,
