Daisy Garden Friends Daze

This tutorial was written on June 5th 2009 by Susan aka Hippiedaze.
The idea for this tag is off my own head lol and any resemblance is purely coincidence.
General Knowledge of psp is required, tutorial was written in psp 9 but will work in other versions.

Supplies Needed

No Outside Tubes Used.
PTU Scrap Kit 'Daisy Dayze' by Tishia @ Designs by Tishia - HERE .
Mask of Choice.
Dropshadow throughout.

(Open Scrapkit and minimise & save mask into your psp folder before you begin)

Lets Get Started....

Open a new image in your psp workspace by going to file, choose new, select image size 500x500, white background and click ok.

Take the element named Tishia Frame 1 from the kit, paste as a new layer on your canvas, go to image, select resize, choose to resize by 50%, make sure smartsize is checked and resize all layers tab should be unchecked, place frame in centre of your canvas.
Grab your magic wand from the tool palette and click inside the frame, go to selections, select modify, select expand and choose to expand by 2, click ok, take a paper from the kit and paste as a new layer, I colourised my paper blue to blend with background, resize down a little if you want to and when happy go to selections, select invert then hit delete on your keyboard, go to selections again and select none, now move this paper layer to under your frame layer.

Take the element named Grass, paste as a new layer, go to image, select resize, resize by 50% again, click ok, add a dropshadow to this layer, make sure its under your frame layer.

Take the cloud element and paste as a new layer, resize down quite small and place near top of your frame, add the dropshadow, go to layers, choose duplicate, move the duplicate along a little then duplicate again and place where you like them, add droshadow to all 3 cloud layers.

Take the element named Tree and paste this as a new layer, resize this layer same as before, you might want to make it a little smaller than 50%, place to the left of your tag and add the same dropshadow, again make sure its under the frame layer.

Now take the little girl tube from the kit, go to image, select resize and resize down to your liking, place on right side of tag and add the dropshadow and yep lol this should be under the frame layer too.

Take the bird element from the kit, paste as a new layer and resize to your liking, small so it sits on the swing lol, add the same dropshadow again.

Paste the Sun element as a new layer, resize to your liking and place in top left of your tag, place layer above the tree layer, add dropshadow.

Paste the butterfly element as a new layer, resize quite small and place where you like it, add the dropshadow then duplicate layer, I colourised the 2nd butterfly blue by going to adjust, select hue/saturation/lightness, colourise and move slider till its the colour you want it.

Take the flower 8 element and paste as new layer, resize to your liking, place below the frame layer just so its showing from the fence, duplicate this layer a few times and place how you like, dropshadow each layer.

Paste a flowerpot element as a new layer, resize again quite small and place in front of the fence, add the dropshadow, duplicate and move 2nd flowerpot along a little.

Paste the bug as a new layer, resize as needed and add the dropshadow. Now grab your text tool, choose a font, make font size around 20, go to colour palette, null for foreground and a colour from the kit as the background fill, type out a phrase, i used 'My Daisy Garden Friends Dayze' place at top of tag above the frame, use the deform tool to pull it in a little if you need to, when happy with it go to layers and select convert to raster layer, go to layers again, select duplicate, go to image, select rotate, free rotate and rotate image by 90% left, make sure rotate all layers is unchecked, click ok, move the rotated words to the left of your tag, (see mine), go to layers again, select duplicate, image again, select rotate, choose rotate 90% right this time, click ok, then rotate 90% right once more, move this layer to the right side of your tag.

Activate the bottom white layer now and paste a paper from the kit as a new layer, go to layers, select load mask from disc then look for the mask you choose at the start, make sure the following settings are checked :-
Fit to canvas - checked .... Source luminace - checked .... Invert transparency - unchecked Hide Mask - checked.
Go to layers, merge group & resize to suit your tag using the deform tool if needed till you get it how you want it.

Crop or resize any excess white now if you wish to.

Add your name, artist info & copyright info.

Save as jpeg or .png. and we're done lol.
